This guide is written from France while preparing to settle in Paraguay (see why, and how I work). To date, there is no Paraguayan voice on this site: no first-hand testimony, no inside perspective. This is a gap I acknowledge, not a box ticked blindly with a fake testimonial to make things look nice.
If you grew up or live in Paraguay and want to correct, nuance, or share something I can't see from Dijon, write to me. A reasoned disagreement about a culture page, a detail that rings false, a lived anecdote: published with your name (or anonymously if you prefer), never reworded to make you say something else.

- Up-to-date prices: a bus ticket, a hotel, a restaurant, a taxi. Prices change and future travellers will thank you.
- Procedures that have changed: a simplified form, a document that's no longer required, an office that moved.
- Photos of the real Paraguay: not postcards, but specific places that illustrate a page on the site. A street in Asunción, an intercity bus, a Migraciones counter.
- Corrected Guarani: a misspelled word, a misused expression. Guarani is not my native language (see the dedicated page).
- An honest opinion: "this section is off the mark, here's why." Put politely, even better, but put frankly it's already useful.
Rights and use of your contribution
To keep things clear:
- You remain the owner of your photos and texts. By sending them to me, you simply allow me to publish them on this site, free of charge, with your credit.
- I don't resell anything. Your contributions are never used for commercial purposes without your explicit written consent.
- You can request removal at any time. An email to hola@elparaguayo.net, I remove within 48 hours.
- No third-party content without permission. If you send me a photo you didn't take yourself, tell me who took it and whether that person agrees.
What you get in return
- A visible credit under the photo or information ("Photo: First Name Last Name", with a link if you wish)
- A personal reply: no robot, no anonymous form, an email read by a real person
- The satisfaction of making information more accurate for the next readers
Nothing is mandatory: you can contribute anonymously if you prefer not to be named.
